Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè (/ˈfokɘ/ /ˈʤaja/ [hard; solid; compact] [millennium]) is a subtropical Town located in Greywyn Dutchy, Mèhabicê Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè was founded by Trënhesí Dyegfe, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Overview

Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 20th century in early winter of the year 1915, by Trënhesí Dyegfe. The establishment of Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè's construction back out of the project. Trënhesí Dyegfe pushed on reguardles, and Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 20th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a series of broad cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè's size could have. Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè's well-designed, yet cheep are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè’s streets.

Cultural Notes

Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè's locals are divided into several castes. They may be organized by social role, by imputed nobility of birth, by ethnic origins, or any other dividing principle, but they cannot imagine any other way of organizing themselves. A hierarchy of castes is not inevitable, but there will be social and legal limits applied to ensure that each caste remains fixed in its function. The outside world may or may not respect these distinctions when dealing with the locals.

Fokê-jaya Dêtîkè's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is based upon new and innovative technologies of construction and the idea that form should follow function. It was an embrace of minimalism and a rejection of ornament. The style became characterized by an emphasis on volume, asymmetrical compositions, and minimal ornamentation..
